MERCY HONORS TWO EMPLOYEES WITH DOVE AWARD
May 3, 2007/Iowa City, IA: Richard Lord of Ainsworth, Iowa, and Terri Doehrmann of Williamsburg, Iowa, are the two newest recipients of the DOVE Award at Mercy Iowa City. Richard Lord has been employed in Mercy’s safety and security office since 1999. Terri Doehrmann has been employed at Mercy since 1980 and currently works in the Linens department.
Mercy’s DOVE Award (Doing Our Values Everyday) was created by the Spirit of Mercy committee in 1993 and has been awarded quarterly since then. Any employee may nominate another employee, with the nominations reviewed and awards made by Spirit of Mercy committee members. Employees who are nominated and selected are those who reflect Mercy’s values of respect, excellence, compassion, stewardship, and collaboration through their everyday work.
