MERCY HONORS THREE EMPLOYEES WITH DOVE AWARD
February 22, 2008 /Iowa City, IA: Dollie Blackley, Tim Bernemann, and Denise Fritz, are the three newest recipients of the DOVE Award at Mercy Iowa City. Dollie Blackley is a registered respiratory therapist and has worked at Mercy since 2006. Denise Fritz is a registered nurse and has worked at Mercy since1979, and Tim Bernemann is a Chaplain with Pastoral Care and has worked at Mercy since 2000.
Mercy’s DOVE Award (Doing Our Values Everyday) was created by the Spirit of Mercy committee in 1993 and has been awarded quarterly since then. Any employee may nominate another employee, with the nominations reviewed and awards made by Spirit of Mercy committee members. Employees who are nominated and selected are those who reflect Mercy’s values of respect, excellence, compassion, stewardship, and collaboration through their everyday work.
