Mercy Nutrition and Wellness Center will offer a 12-week program to help individuals lose weight. The weekly sessions taught by a registered dietitian. The focus of this program is behavior modification to achieve long-term lifestyle changes and improve health. Sessions are held in the Center starting May 15, from 7 to 8 a.m., located on the first floor of the hospital, near the Cafeteria. This class can be streamed live via Facebook for participants unable to attend every class.

This program will help you set weight loss and health goals and be accountable with weekly weigh-ins. You will work with registered dietitians to help you focus on healthy eating, portion control and the importance of physical activity.

There is a $360 fee for the twelve week program. Registration fee includes lipid and glucose blood tests at the start and end of the program, physical therapy assessment, dedicated time with a registered dietitian and ongoing support following the program.

Nutrition and Wellness Coaching with a registered dietitian is now also available. A physician referral is not necessary.
