Tuesday, July 23, 2019 - Mercy Iowa City Neurodiagnostic Sleep Center Awarded Reaccreditation

Mercy Iowa City has been granted reaccreditation for a period of five years by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). This includes accreditation for all types of sleep testing including in-center polysomnography (PSG), multiple sleep latency testing (MSLT), maintenance of wakefulness testing (MWT) and home sleep apnea testing (HSAT).

 

According to the AASM, accredited facilities provide the highest quality of patient care. The AASM is committed to ensuring that Mercy Iowa City and others in the field of sleep medicine provide excellent healthcare and enhance the awareness of sleep as an important element for health, public safety and the quality of life.
