The following support groups will meet at Mercy Iowa City in the coming weeks.

Bariatric Support Group: Wednesday, November 1, 6 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday, November 15, from noon to 1 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the first floor conference room, Mercy Hospital.

Breath of Fresh Air Support Group: No meeting.

Continuing After Breast Cancer Group: Thursday, November 9, 6:30 p.m., Fanning Room, Mercy Medical Plaza. Guest speaker will be Susan Meyer, DNP, ARNP, with Mercy Psychiatry to talk about life changes.

Cardiac Support Group: Wednesday, November 15, l1:30 a.m., a heart healthy luncheon will be available for $5.00 payable at the door. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling 339-3543 or 358-2767.
Continuing After Breast Cancer Support Group: Thursday, October 12, 7 p.m., Fanning room, Mercy Medical Plaza. Meeting topic will be “Reaching Out to Women Facing Breast Cancer.” This will be a group discussion on ways to reach out to the community. The Continuing After Breast Cancer Group has been a resource for 26 years. As we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month this will be a time to reflect on moving forward.

Friends with Aphasia, etc.: Friday, November 10;  Friday, December 8; Friday, January 5 1:30 to 3 p.m., lower level meeting room, Mercy Medical Plaza.
