Upcoming birth care classes
Mercy Iowa City will hold the following classes for expectant mothers and families in the coming weeks:
Beginning with Baby: Thursday, June 13, 6:30 to 9 p.m., McAuley room, Mercy Medical Plaza. Class fee of $15 per couple; minimum of 6 couples per class.
Breastfeeding and More Group: Every Thursday, 12 noon to 2 p.m., McAuley room, Mercy Medical Plaza. Weekly group for breastfeeding families. Expectant parents are also welcome. No fee.
Breastfeeding Class: Monday, June 17, 6, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., first floor conference room, Mercy Hospital. Fee is $10.
Childbirth Preparation: Tuesday, June 4 and 11, 7 to 9 p.m., classroom 4, Mercy Hospital. No fee.
Heartsaver Baby Class: Saturday, June 15, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., classroom 4, Mercy Hospital. Fee is $15 per person.
New Brother/New Sister Class: Monday, June 3, 6 and 7:15 p.m., Classroom 4, Mercy Hospital. For children ages 3 to 12 and their parents. No fee.
