Pediatric patients are a little trickier to visit with via Telemed and benefit from a hands-on exam to listen to lungs, look in ears, take temperatures, etc.

The Pediatric Acute Care (PAC) Clinic is staffed by one provider and one nurse Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. They have the capability in house to test for strep, flu, RSV and COVID-19

How it works?

• Call for an appointment: 319-688-7337

• Designated parking spaces for patients are conveniently located and marked

• Parents/guardians call the clinic when they arrive to notify staff which spot they are in

• A nurse meets them at the back entrance of the clinic to begin their visit

• A section of pur office has been dedicated to these symptomatic patients in order to keep the sickness contained to one area, and to keep the well children, parents and staff segregated (at a safe distance/safe) from illness.
