Mercy’s Patient Portal allows you to view parts of your electronic medical record from anywhere with Internet access. It provides personal health information about recent services you received at Mercy Hospital.

Information for a specific visit to the hospital will be available 24 hours after discharge. It will be updated after two weeks. Test results may take up to 7 days.

Information provided in the portal can include:

  • Diagnosis
  • Vital signs 
  • Health care providers
  • Medications
  • Test results
  • Discharge instructions
  • Allergies
  • Procedures performed

Please note:

  • No information is available in the portal for services provided before April 1, 2014.
  • The portal provides information only for Mercy Hospital services. It does not include information from your doctor’s office.
  • Portal accounts are not available for patients under the age of 18. More information

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if I already have a patient portal through my doctor’s office?

A: The portal at your doctor’s office is completely separate from Mercy Hospital’s portal. You will need to sign up for both systems in order to see information from the hospital and your doctor’s office.

Q: Can I access my minor child’s information through the patient portal?

A: No, accounts are not available for anyone under the age of 18 years. Parents and guardians must use the current system of requesting documents from Mercy’s Clinical Information Systems Department (Medical Records) with appropriate identification and authorization. More information

Q: Can I access other family members’ information using my own account?

A: Yes, but you must follow instructions contained in the portal and the family member must approve your request using their own account.

Q: How often is my information updated?

A: Preliminary information becomes available 24 hours after discharge, with final copy available in two weeks. Test results may take up to seven days.
