John Mehegan, MD, FACC, Medical Director

Dr. Mehegan received his medical education from Ohio State University, completed his residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital and University of Iowa, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine.

Ankur Vyas, MD, FACC

Dr. Vyas received his medical education from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, completed his residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease Internal Medicine, Certification Board of Nuclear  Cardiology and National Board of Echocardiography.

Michael Hajdu, MD, FACC

Dr. Hadju received his medical education from University of Iowa, completed his residency at University of Vermont, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Council for Certification of Cardiovascular Imaging and National Board of Echocardiography.

Dr. Hajdu would like his patients to know that he is a nice guy who enjoys bicycling, fishing, motorcycles, and scuba diving outside of work.

Edward Melcher, ARNP

Ed received his medical education from University of Iowa, and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners

James Hopson, MD, FACC*

Dr. Hopson received his medical education from University of Iowa, completed his residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine and Cardiac Electrophysiology.
