Nathan Schneider, MD, FACS                
Dr. Schneider received his medical education from the University of Iowa, completed his residency at Iowa Health Des Moines, and is certified by the American Board of Surgery and General Surgery.

Dr. Schneider is also the Medical Director for the Mercy Vein Center.

 Dr. Saurabh Shireesh Saurabh, MD, FACS, FASMBS               
Dr. Saurabh received his medical education from All India Institute of Medical Sciences  completed his residency at Drexel University College of Medicine, and is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Saurabh is the Medical Director of Mercy's Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program.
Benjamin Green, DO               
Dr. Green received his medical education from Des Moines University, completed his residency at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, and is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr.Green is the  Medical Director of Mercy Trauma Services
What makes Dr. Green unique, is he is the only surgeon in Iowa City performing minimally invasive, robotic inguinal and robotic hernia repairs.
























Dr. Green offers robotic-assisted minimally invasive hernia surgery which  includes robotic inguinal, umbilical, epigastric and incisional hernia repairs. Benefits include shorter hospital stay, less blood loss, fewer complications, faster recovery, smaller incisions with minimal scarring, less need for narcotic pain medicine and quicker return to work.
