Padma Collappakkam moved to Iowa City in fall of 2004 with her husband and two year old twins, and thereafter completed Family Medicine residency at the University of Iowa hospitals and clinics. She joined Mercy in 2011 and has been passionate about treating her patients. Outside of work, Dr. Collappakkam enjoys working out and spending time with her family. Dr. Collappakkam feels that Mercy is unique from other organizations because of its quick access to primary care and specialists. She appreciates her nurses and how the clinics are able to work as a team.
