"We also look forward to Shane’s return to Iowa City and welcoming him to the leadership team, as he will play a key role in helping advance our healing ministry and continue Mercy Iowa City’s long tradition of providing excellent health care to the community."

Cerone has more than 20 years of leadership experience in health care. Prior to this appointment at Mercy Iowa City, he served as president of Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and currently serves as chief executive officer of Health Market Solutions.
