A native of Eastern Iowa and a graduate of the University of Iowa, Dr. Bussewitz completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency, followed by a 12-month Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgical Fellowship at Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is the only fellowship trained podiatrist in the state.
