Dmitriy Acherkan, MD
Dr. Acherkan received his medical education from Moscow Medical Stomatology Institute, completed his residency at the Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

"I love our Mercy clinics, because everyone knows everyone that walks through the door. It is a very personable and close relationship with the community here."  Outside of work Dr. Acherkan enjoys fishing, reading, spending time with family and playing chess. What he would like his patients to know about him is that he is always willing to stay as long as you need.  A colleague has talked about how he is always willing to go the extra mile for patients, and walks his patients out to the parking lot.



Charlotte Koenig, MD
Dr. Koenig received her medical education at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, completed her residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

"I would like my patients to know that I am very compassionate and knowledgable with my patients. I am always willing to take the time with people."  What makes Mercy Family Medicine of Williamsburg Clinic different is the hometown feeling, where our staff is friendly and a relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Koenig's hobbies include: reading, bird watching and listening to music.
