May 17, 2023 (Iowa City, Iowa) – Effective June 30, 2023, OB-GYN Associates of Iowa City and Coralville providers will become employed by the Mercy Iowa City Hospital and Clinic system, expanding the care offerings of Mercy Iowa City and ensuring expecting parents continue to have a choice in where they deliver their babies in the region.

Providers formerly of OB-GYN Associates of Iowa City and Coralville will practice in a clinic called Corrider OB GYN. The new service line will provide the highest quality of ob-gyn care in a warm, personal and community-based care setting.

Mercy Iowa City birthing center has five labor & delivery suites, a dedicated c-section suite and a pediatric hospitalist team on site. More than 800 babies are born at Mercy Iowa City each year.
