Guest Lodging

Mercy Hospital provides overnight accommodations for loved ones of patients staying at Mercy Hospital, or for those traveling for an early appointment the following day.

No nursing care, patient escort, or meal services are available in Guest Lodging. Guests must be completely independent or bring a caregiver if personal services are required.

Reservations
Reservations can be made by calling the Volunteer Services Manager, Jenna Maxson at 319-339-3659 or emailing jenna.maxson@mercyic.org 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Rates
Mercy Guest Lodging costs $35 per room per night. Long-term guests are entitled to a 10 percent discount starting with the 8th night. Room payments must be paid in full at the time of check-out or before and is not covered by medical insurance. Cash, MasterCard, VISA, and personal checks are accepted.

Registration and Check-out
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. visit the Guest Lodging lobby, third floor of Mercy North.
All other times, and holidays please contact Security at extension 0 from the Guest Lodging lobby phone. If checking in outside of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. please anticipate a 30 minute wait as our Security Officers may be assisting a patient. 

When checking out, please return your room key to the Guest Lodging desk. 

Mercy Guest Lodging rooms include:

  • One full and one twin bed
  • Telephone and television
  • Alarm clock
  • Private restroom with shower
  • Free wifi throughout Mercy Hospital

In addition, guests are welcome to use the vending machines, microwave, refrigerator, and laundry facilities located in the Mercy Guest Lodging area.
