Dustaff Persaud moved from New York City where he worked in the Emergency Department at Woodhull Hospital Medical Center , Brooklyn as Chief Physician Assistant for 14+ years, also oversaw Physician Assistants in six Hospital Emergency Departments as Regional Manager for New York City Emergency Medical Association. He also worked as a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner for New York City Public Hospitals in North Brooklyn. Persaud joined the Mercy team as a PA in 2014. He and his wife have three sons. Dustaff was born in Guyana, South America, where he became a Medical Technologist and pursue the same degree At the College of Staten Island prior to becoming a Physician Assistant.
